On the Hawaii conference I would say that you put together a rather complex event that went off seamlessly.  This was a challenging endeavor since the conference was held many thousand miles from your location in Annapolis where virtually all arrangements were made and scheduled, following one very successful site visit in advance of the conference to scout the venue and develop the scope of the conference.  Your interpersonal and organizational skills were highlighted as it all came together so well.  The coup de grace was the wonderful and unique glass speakers gifts you crafted in the volcanic island theme.  Excellent!
